In response to a lawsuit filed in December by a woman referred to as Jane Doe, Sean "Diddy" Combs has denied allegations of rape that date back 20 years ago in a New York City recording studio. The lawsuit also names Harve Pierre, a former president of Combs' record label, and an unidentified individual as defendants in the case.

Combs stated in a legal filing this week that he never engaged in, witnessed, or was aware of any misconduct towards the woman in question. The response challenges the authenticity of photos included in the lawsuit, claiming the legitimacy of the images is disputed. Additionally, Combs' attorneys argue that the Victims of Gender-Motivated Protection Law, under which the lawsuit was filed, is unconstitutional.

Pierre, who is also named in the lawsuit, denied participating in the alleged sexual assault and stated that he did not witness anyone else sexually assaulting the accuser. This legal action marks the fourth lawsuit against Combs, with previous accusations filed against him. The terms of an earlier lawsuit by singer and actress Cassie were settled in November, a day after it was filed, without disclosing details of the settlement.

The court filings show that Combs and his legal team are adamantly refuting the allegations, with Combs publicly asserting his innocence and vowing to defend his name, family, and the truth. The judge has not yet made a ruling on the matter, and the case remains pending, with no disclosure on the terms of the previous settlement reached in the legal dispute with Cassie.
