**San Antonio High Schools Shine at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade**

NEW YORK CITY, New York - This year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade marks a century of festive celebrations, and two high school dance teams from San Antonio are set to make it unforgettable. William H. Taft High School and Pieper High School have proudly announced through their social media that their dance teams will be performing in the renowned parade on Thursday.

In a spirited post, Pieper High School declared, "They are ready to work hard and play hard! We can't wait to watch them in a performance of a lifetime!" Meanwhile, Taft High School's Instagram story provided eager viewers with information on when to catch their performance—specifically, after the ninth commercial break, following the Toys R Us float.

The excitement doesn’t end there for San Antonio. Benjamin Mendez, a trombone player from Highlands High School, has been selected to perform with the prestigious Great American Band. As confirmed by the school on their Instagram page, Mendez and the band are slated to kick off the parade as the first performance. Impressively, this is Mendez's second consecutive year participating in this iconic event.

San Antonio has a history of having its high school bands featured on this national stage. Past participants include bands from Ronald Reagan High School and Winston Churchill High School. This continued representation highlights the exceptional talent and dedication of San Antonio's student performers.
