Samsung is prioritizing the security of its flagship smartphones by steadily releasing the June 2024 security update across a range of devices. The tech giant has demonstrated a commitment to providing regular security patches, even for devices launched several years ago.

First on the list were the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Samsung's last Note-branded smartphones, which are still receiving security updates almost four years after their initial launch. This week, the Note 20 duo has started to receive the June 2024 security update in the United States on select carrier-locked units, as well as in Europe.

Following this, the Galaxy S24 series smartphones became the first devices from Samsung to receive the latest security patch. Initially, the update was rolled out to both the carrier-locked and carrier-unlocked variants in the United States, along with the Korean versions. However, Samsung is expanding its reach, extending the June 2024 security update to more regions.

Now, Samsung is turning its attention to the Galaxy S22 series smartphones. The June 2024 security patch is being made available to the European variants of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra, enhancing the security of these devices.

Furthermore, the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Flip 3 foldable smartphone has also received the June 2024 security update, ensuring the latest security protocols are in place. Although Samsung experienced a slight delay due to the release of the One UI 6.1 update, it quickly caught up by rolling out the security update to multiple high-end phones, improving the security features across the board.

Not to be left behind, the Galaxy Z Fold series is also receiving the latest security updates. The Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Fold 5 have all started receiving the June 2024 security update in Europe, boosting the overall security of these innovative foldable devices.

While the June 2024 security update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is currently limited to the United States, it is expected to be released in other regions soon, ensuring that users across the globe can benefit from enhanced device security.

Samsung's dedication to providing regular security updates underscores its commitment to protecting user data and ensuring a safe mobile experience. Users can now enjoy improved security on their high-end Samsung smartphones, thanks to the June 2024 security update.

Overall, Samsung's efforts to prioritize security across its flagship devices demonstrate the brand's commitment to maintaining the trust and satisfaction of its customers.
