A horse caused a stir early Tuesday morning as it ran loose along Pennsylvania highways, eventually being corralled by state police on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia. The horse's daring escape began on Kelly Drive and led to a dramatic chase through Interstate 676 before coming to a halt on I-95. Shocking videos captured the horse sprinting at full speed along the highway's shoulder.

With the help of the Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club, the horse was successfully captured in the Port Richmond area after a two-hour pursuit. A nonprofit employee from the riding club was seen loading the horse into a trailer, noting that the horse had recently arrived at the club.

Authorities were first alerted to the loose animal through reports and videos as early as 4:45 am. The recapture of the rogue horse took place on Westermorland Street at 6:45 am, ending its wild run. Photos and videos show law enforcement vehicles cornering the horse before safely securing it to a fence.

The Urban Riding Club, located near where the horse was captured, has received attention as a nonprofit that teaches children horseback riding. Social media buzzed with reactions to the horse's escapade, with many users expressing relief upon hearing that the horse was safe and sound. One user wrote, 'Thank goodness he/she is safe. Must have been scary for her/him.' A playful response from the Philadelphia police department also lightened the situation, with a quip urging locals to 'hold your horses (so we don't have to).'
