**TikTok Star Taylor Rousseau Grigg Dies Suddenly at 25**
The online community is mourning the sudden loss of Taylor Rousseau Grigg, a 25-year-old TikTok content creator known for her lifestyle videos. Her husband, Cameron Grigg, shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram on October 5, describing her passing as "sudden and unexpected."
Taylor, who had amassed a following of 1.4 million on TikTok, had been open about her health struggles. In an August 8 video, she revealed that she had once been very athletic but had been unwell since marrying Cameron in August 2023. While she did not disclose the specifics of her illness, she mentioned that it took a considerable amount of time to receive a diagnosis, only getting clarity a few months before her death.
"No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartache, especially at our age," Cameron wrote in his emotional Instagram post. He noted that Taylor had been in and out of the hospital frequently since their marriage and had endured immense suffering during that time.
Despite the couple's ordeal, Taylor continued to bring joy to those around her. Cameron highlighted her incredible resilience and light-hearted spirit, even amidst profound pain. Taylor, who turned 25 in September, had conveyed that she felt as though she was constantly "fighting for life" and struggled with everyday activities due to her health issues.
In his tribute, Cameron revealed that Taylor's organs would be donated to pediatric recipients, something she would have cherished given her love for helping others. "Her earthly body is still here with us being run by machines to keep her organs viable for donation," he said. Representatives for the Griggs confirmed this compassionate act in a statement shared with TODAY.com.
To help with expenses, Cameron also set up a GoFundMe page, explaining that Taylor's illness had significantly strained their financial situation. Taylor's content on TikTok, which often featured aspects of her life including her marriage, dog, faith, and country lifestyle, resonated deeply with her followers.
In his message to Taylor's fans, Cameron assured them that she is no longer in pain and at peace. "She doesn't owe anyone anything. But she would want everyone to know that she's more than OK," he wrote, adding that he envisions her spirit now dancing in heaven, adorned with her beloved shoe collection and turquoise jewelry.
