Lizzy Musi, a prominent race car driver who gained fame through her appearances on Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings and multiple Discovery spinoffs, has tragically lost her life at the age of 33. Lizzy's father, Pat Musi, announced her passing on social media, revealing that she succumbed to breast cancer on June 27 at her North Carolina home.

In April 2023, Lizzy was diagnosed with triple-negative Stage 4 breast cancer and had been sharing her journey and fight against the disease on Instagram. Despite the doubts expressed by some, she remained determined and grateful, expressing her appreciation for being able to continue doing what she loved.

Lizzy had an impressive racing career and made history as the first female driver to win an event on Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings. Behind the wheel of The Aftershock, a nitrous-boosted 2012 Camaro, she won three consecutive races during the 2019 season. Her racing skills also earned her appearances on Discovery's Street Outlaws spinoffs Locals Only, Gone Girl, and Fastest in America.

The term "no prep" refers to racing on an unprepared surface to mimic street conditions, and Lizzy's achievements in this arena showcased her exceptional talent. In July 2014, she became the first woman ever to win a Pro Nitrous national event at the Professional Drag Racers Association U.S. Drags. Her accomplishments were frequently recognized in Drag Illustrated magazine, where she graced the cover of the February 2014 issue.

Lizzy hailed from a racing family, serving as the director of the family business Musi Racing in Mooresville, North Carolina. Her father, Pat Musi, is a renowned engine builder and an eight-time PDRA pro street world champion. Their passion for racing united them and made them formidable forces in the motorsports community.
