Professional Bowler Brandon Novak Facing Child Pornography Charges

Professional bowler Brandon Novak, 35, has been charged with multiple counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material and pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor. Novak was arrested midway through a tournament on February 1 in Indianapolis and was later extradited to Ross County jail in Ohio. His arrest was a result of a year-long investigation by the Chillicothe Police Department, following complaints about his Facebook account's association with child pornography. Novak is facing a total of 15 felony charges in Ohio, with a pre-trial hearing scheduled for March 21. Despite the arrest, Novak managed to finish in 36th place at the 2024 US Open and earned $1,500 in winnings. Novak, a native of Chillicothe, Ohio, has been competing in professional bowling tournaments for over a decade.
