### Dak Prescott Leads Cowboys to Crucial Victory Over Giants

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Facing a critical juncture early in the season, the Dallas Cowboys secured a pivotal 20-1 win against the New York Giants in Week 4. Although Dak Prescott and his teammates avoided calling this game a must-win before kickoff, they acknowledged its importance afterward. The victory partially alleviated the pressures weighing heavily on the team.

"Winning this game was huge," said Prescott, the Cowboys' All-Pro quarterback. "Losing two straight, especially at home, then coming on the road for our first division game made this even more critical. Road division wins are always tough, and this one definitely gives us a better taste heading into our long weekend."

This victory snapped a two-game losing streak and improved the Cowboys' record to 2-2. The team hadn't won at AT&T Stadium since their December 30 matchup against the Detroit Lions. While savoring the victory, Prescott stressed the need for ongoing improvement, particularly against the formidable opponents they face in the coming weeks.

"Even after those two losses, I've said it's a process," Prescott added. "We won't get complacent or overexcited. This is about building and figuring out what we can improve in all phases, but it's a lot easier to do that with a win."

Prescott's performance was instrumental, completing 81.5% of his passes for 221 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions, resulting in a 125.5 passer rating. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who had shown frustration in a previous loss, excelled with a strong first half, helping the Cowboys take an early lead.

Prescott emphasized that the team's focus must remain on continuous improvement and professionalism. This mindset is vital if they aim to re-establish themselves as Super Bowl contenders.

"We need to continue being pros," Prescott asserted. "A win doesn't mean we can relax. We can't get overexcited or pay too much attention to what's being written about us. Our focus has to stay on the process."

Looking ahead, Prescott noted the importance of preparing for their next game against an undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers team. Reflecting on his last visit to the Steelers' stadium during his rookie year, Prescott displayed optimism and readiness.

"I'm looking forward to playing there again," he said. "Right now, our priority is to take care of our bodies, stay smart and healthy this weekend, and get back to work on Monday. We have to be accountable to each other, trust the process, and strive to put our best version out there next Sunday.”

Prescott's mantra of "continue to work" underscores the team's resolve to ensure this season holds significance.
