**Post Malone Announces First Stadium Tour, Includes Detroit Stop**
Post Malone is set to embark on his first-ever stadium tour, and he’s coming to Ford Field in Detroit on May 18. Dubbed the "Big Ass Stadium Tour," this announcement has fans buzzing with excitement. The tour, revealed by the multi-genre artist on Tuesday, will mark a significant milestone in his career, showcasing his versatility and widespread appeal.
Accompanying Post Malone on this tour is Jelly Roll, the rapper-turned-country singer who recently expressed his dream of performing at Ford Field. During a performance at Little Caesars Arena earlier this month, Jelly Roll hinted at the possibility, saying, "I hope one day we come back and get to do it at Ford Field, baby. That's my dream, Detroit!" It appears that dream is now becoming a reality.
Tickets for the Ford Field show will be available for purchase starting at noon on November 26 through Ticketmaster. Pre-sale tickets for Citi cardholders will be available at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, with artist pre-sales kicking off at 9 a.m. on Friday. Fans can register for pre-sale tickets online.
The "Big Ass Stadium Tour" will begin on April 29 in Salt Lake City and will include stops in 25 North American cities. This tour comes on the heels of Post Malone's sixth studio album, "F-1 Trillion," which marks his first foray into country music. The album features the hit song "I Had Some Help," a collaboration with Morgan Wallen that spent six non-consecutive weeks atop Billboard's Hot 100 chart earlier this year. Additionally, Post Malone achieved another No. 1 hit this year with "Fortnight," a single by Taylor Swift featuring his vocals.
Jelly Roll, who has frequently performed in Detroit, will be a notable addition to the tour. His past shows in the city, including performances at the Shelter and Saint Andrew's Hall, have helped cement his local popularity. Joining them will be West Virginia singer-songwriter Sierra Ferrell, adding another layer of musical talent to the lineup.
This concert marks the second major event announced for Ford Field’s 2025 schedule, following the highly anticipated Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks concert on March 29. Post Malone's ascent in the Detroit music scene has been remarkable, with previous performances including a 2016 debut at the Fillmore Detroit with Fetty Wap, opening for Justin Bieber at the Palace of Auburn Hills, and headlining shows at Saint Andrew's Hall. More recently, he has rocked multiple arenas, including Little Caesars Arena in 2019 and 2022, as well as a July 2023 performance at Pine Knob.
Fans of both Post Malone and Jelly Roll are eagerly awaiting what promises to be an unforgettable concert, filled with chart-topping hits and unique musical blends.
