Wide receiver DeVonta Smith has been declared out for the game due to a hamstring injury that sidelined him throughout the week. This marks the second game Smith will miss this season.

Smith has been an essential part of the Eagles' offense, with 41 receptions, 516 yards, and four touchdowns to his name so far. His absence will certainly be felt in the game plan against the Rams.

To fill the void, the Eagles will rely on their other wide receivers: A.J. Brown, Jahan Dotson, Johnny Wilson, and Ainias Smith. There is also the possibility of Britain Covey being activated from injured reserve. Covey has been recovering from a shoulder injury but is listed as questionable for the upcoming game. The team has an open roster spot following the placement of edge rusher Bryce Huff on injured reserve on Friday.

The Eagles will need to find ways to adapt without Smith as they aim to secure a win against the Rams, a crucial game as the season progresses.
