Pete Prisco's recent betting results have left much to be desired. In the past two weeks, his picks have been abysmal, with a 5-11 record against the spread last week, bringing his season total to 56-64-3. However, Prisco is looking to put his October woes behind him and turn things around in Week 9.

The Jets, who have lost five games overall and two straight since acquiring Davante Adams, are looking to get back on track. Prisco predicts that Aaron Rodgers will lead the turnaround in their matchup, projecting a 31-23 victory over the Texans, who are struggling with offensive line issues and the absence of Stefon Diggs and Nico Collins.

In a tightly contested game, Prisco foresees the Falcons edging out the Cowboys 33-32. Both teams have defensive issues, and Prisco expects both offenses to capitalize on them, resulting in a high-scoring affair.

Prisco highlights the Ravens' matchup against the Broncos as one of the better games of the week. While the Broncos' 5-3 record is largely thanks to their defense, he believes Lamar Jackson's offense will regain its form and ultimately prevail with a 27-17 win.

The Dolphins are in a must-win situation. Prisco sees the Bills continuing their dominance in this rivalry, predicting a 32-23 win. He notes Josh Allen’s exceptional record against Miami as a key factor.

As for the Saints and Panthers, Prisco's pick is clear. Despite both teams struggling with injuries, the Saints are predicted to come out on top 23-13, largely because of Carolina's overall poor performance.

Looking at the Bengals and Raiders, Prisco predicts a rebound for Cincinnati after a dismal showing last week. He believes Joe Burrow will outshine Gardner Minshew in a 30-20 victory.

In the Chargers' battle against the Browns, Prisco expects the Chargers' defense to limit Jameis Winston, resulting in a narrow 21-20 victory.

The Commanders will face the Giants for the second time this season. After winning the first encounter, Prisco believes the Commanders' defense will continue to show improvement, leading to a 30-17 victory.

Prisco predicts that the Titans will snap their three-game losing streak against the Patriots with a 21-16 win, regardless of whether Will Levis or Mason Rudolph starts under center.

After a painful last-minute loss to the Commanders, the Bears face a tough challenge against the Cardinals. Prisco expects the Cardinals to capitalize on the Bears' lingering disappointment, projecting a 24-17 victory for Arizona.

In another lopsided game, Prisco sees the Eagles overpowering the Jaguars with a 33-19 win, citing the Philadelphia offense’s prowess and Jacksonville’s defensive struggles.

With Jordan Love nursing an injured groin, Prisco picks the Lions to defeat the Packers 29-23, reasoning that Green Bay's reliance on the run won't be enough.

The Rams-Seahawks showdown should be a high-scoring affair according to Prisco, who expects a resurgent Rams offense to lead them to a 34-27 victory over the struggling Seattle defense.

Lastly, Prisco believes the Vikings will narrowly overcome the Colts 28-24, with Minnesota pulling ahead late in the game thanks to their defensive pressure.

Wrapping up his picks, Prisco predicts the Chiefs will extend their unbeaten streak with a 29-17 win over the Buccaneers, emphasizing Kansas City's improving offense and Tampa Bay’s recent defensive woes.
