Kansas City, Mo. - After the tragic events following the Chiefs Super Bowl parade and rally near Union Station in which 23 victims were shot, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes have shown their support by visiting those affected. One of the victims, 15-year-old Mireya Nelson, is currently recovering in the hospital after sustaining injuries from a bullet that passed through her chin, jaw, and shoulder. The couple visited Mireya in her hospital bed, as captured in a photo shared on a GoFundMe page created to support her and her mother. The page highlights Mireya's kind nature and emphasizes the importance of support from the community as she works towards recovery. Patrick and Brittany Mahomes have also extended their visits to other victims of the shooting, including 8 and 10-year-old sisters who were both shot in the legs on the same day.
