In a recent revelation on CBS Mornings, Oprah Winfrey's close friend Gayle King announced that the media mogul had been admitted to the hospital due to a severe stomach virus. King disclosed that Winfrey had experienced symptoms of stomach flu, including vomiting and diarrhea.

"She had some kind of stomach thing - stomach flu - stuff was coming out of both ends," King candidly shared. "I won't get too graphic. Needless to say, she ended up in the hospital, suffering from dehydration and had to receive an intravenous (IV) treatment."

According to King, Winfrey had initially tried to push through her illness but was ultimately advised by medical professionals to prioritize rest and recovery. While assuring the public that Winfrey would be fine, King expressed concern about her friend's reaction to the intimate details being shared.

"It was a very serious thing," King stressed. "But I wanted to make it clear, though, that it mattered to her and that it really bothered her that she couldn't be here for you today."

Winfrey, a renowned talk show host, philanthropist, and actress, has been an influential figure in the entertainment industry for decades. The news of her hospitalization has come as a shock to many of her followers, who were eagerly anticipating her appearance on CBS Mornings.

The exact timeline of Winfrey's hospitalization and the current status of her health have not been disclosed in the interview. However, King's reassurances suggest that Winfrey is expected to make a full recovery and will soon be back to her usual activities.

We wish Oprah Winfrey a speedy recovery and hope to see her back in good health soon.
