Once launched, these satellites will feature expansive communication arrays reaching 2,400 square feet, making them the largest commercial communications hardware ever placed in low Earth orbit. This advanced technology will facilitate 24/7 broadband connectivity, with data transmission speeds expected to hit peak rates of 120 Mbps.

To meet its objectives, AST SpaceMobile has received substantial strategic investments from industry giants such as AT&T, Verizon, Google, and Vodafone. The company also holds agreements with more than 45 mobile network operators worldwide, collectively serving over 2.8 billion subscribers. This roster includes notable partners like Rakuten Mobile, Bell Canada, Orange, Telefonica, and the Saudi Telecom Company.
