According to reliable sources, the highly anticipated new iPad models are set to make their debut in early May. After a year-long hiatus, Apple fans can finally look forward to the arrival of the latest iPad Pro and iPad Air versions. Renowned Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, known for his accurate predictions, has confirmed that the release of these new iPad models is imminent.

One of the most notable updates to the iPad lineup will be the introduction of OLED displays, a first for iPads. This enhancement is expected to greatly enhance the visual experience for users. Additionally, Gurman reveals that the revamped iPad Pro models will also come with a completely redesigned Magic Keyboard and a newly updated Pencil accessory.

In addition to the enhanced iPad Pro, Apple enthusiasts can also anticipate the launch of a larger 12.9-inch iPad Air model. This larger-screened variant is poised to offer an even more immersive and versatile user experience.

Originally, the new iPad models were anticipated to arrive in March. However, potential software and production challenges may have caused a delay in their release. If the projected May release holds true, the new iPads will arrive prior to Apple's highly anticipated WWDC 2024 developer conference in June. This event is expected to showcase updates to Apple's Vision Pro software and provide insights into generative AI on iOS.

The most recent iPad release from Apple was in November 2022, which also featured an iPad Pro equipped with the M2 chip. The forthcoming iPad Pros are rumored to boast even more powerful M3 chips, while the iPad Air is expected to receive an upgrade to the M2 chip.

Unfortunately for entry-level iPad shoppers, it seems that they may have to exercise some patience as they await a better alternative to the currently available older iPad models.

As May approaches, Apple enthusiasts will eagerly anticipate the unveiling of the new iPad models, complete with the highly sought-after upgrades to the Pencil and Magic Keyboard accessories. Stay tuned for further updates and details on Apple's new lineup of iPads.
