### Nebraska Volleyball Dominates Michigan State in Straight Sets
In a commanding start to their weekend away game series, Nebraska’s No. 2 ranked volleyball team displayed their dominance with a swift victory over Michigan State. The Huskers, currently 17-1 overall and 7-0 in Big Ten play, had no trouble sweeping the Spartans, who have yet to secure a conference win this season.
Nebraska showcased their offensive prowess by hitting at a rate of .364, while effectively holding Michigan State to a mere .141 hitting percentage. The match saw impressive performances from several Huskers players, with Harper Murray and Taylor Landfair leading the way with 12 kills each, and Andi Jackson contributing 10 kills with an astounding .600 hitting percentage. Jackson also added defensive muscle with five blocks, helping Nebraska out-block Michigan State 10-4.
The Huskers started strong in the first set, jumping to a 5-2 lead with notable plays from Merritt Beason and Murray. Despite a brief comeback from Michigan State to lead 8-6, Nebraska regained control with a decisive 4-0 run and ultimately closed the set on a 6-0 streak, winning 25-15.
Nebraska continued their dominance in the second set, maintaining a steady lead. Key kills from Jackson, Reilly, Allick, and Murray ensured the Huskers stayed ahead, eventually securing a 25-19 win in the second set.
The third set followed a similar script with Nebraska quickly establishing a lead. The combined efforts of Murray, Landfair, Allick, and Beason, who sealed the match with a final kill, led the Huskers to another 25-15 victory.
