With seven games set to air across NBC and Peacock in the first three weeks, fans have much to look forward to.

The season kicks off on Friday, August 29, as the Illinois Fighting Illini face off against the Western Illinois Leathernecks at 7:30 p.m. ET exclusively on Peacock. The excitement continues with the return of Big Ten Saturday Night on August 30, when the Michigan Wolverines host the New Mexico Lobos at 7:30 p.m. ET on both NBC and Peacock.

One of the early highlights of the season will be Penn State's annual "White Out" game, scheduled for Saturday, September 27. The Nittany Lions will host the 2024 Big Ten champions, the Oregon Ducks, at 7:30 p.m. ET in a primetime showdown. Last season, Oregon entered the College Football Playoff as the top seed and faced a strong campaign before falling to eventual National Champions, Ohio State.

In Week 2, Rutgers will host Miami (OH) on Saturday, September 6, exclusively on Peacock at 3:30 p.m. ET. The day's action wraps up with Michigan State taking on Boston College in another Big Ten Saturday Night matchup at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

Week 3 spotlights the defending National Champions, Ohio State Buckeyes, who will host Ohio on Saturday, September 13, at 7 p.m. ET on Big Ten Saturday Night. The Buckeyes are coming off a stellar season, clinching their seventh national title with a 34-23 victory over Notre Dame in the National Championship Game. Earlier in the day, Maryland will host Towson in an exclusive Peacock broadcast at Noon ET.

As the season progresses, a special Black Friday game on November 28 will pit the Indiana Hoosiers against the Purdue Boilermakers at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. Indiana made waves last season with a program-best 11 wins and their first-ever spot in the College Football Playoffs.

Notable primetime games for the 35th consecutive season of Notre Dame Football on NBC include matchups against Texas A&M on September 13, USC on October 18, and Navy on November 8. The Fighting Irish are expected to be a formidable team, led by Heisman contender Jeremiyah Love, standout cornerback Leonard Moore, and Wisconsin transfer wide receiver Will Pauling.
