**NBA Community Rallies Around Kyle Singler After Distressing Social Media Posts**
The NBA Players Association has stepped in to support Kyle Singler following a series of worrying posts the former NBA player shared on social media this week. Singler, who played for six years in the NBA after a stellar college career at Duke, sparked concern among his followers with a message expressing fear for his life "every day."
In an official statement to The Post, a spokesperson for the NBPA confirmed their ongoing contact with Singler’s family. "We are in contact with Kyle's family. As with all current and former members of the NBPA, we offer any and all support to players, whether through their biggest successes or times of challenge," read the statement.
Singler's alarming posts began Tuesday morning with a video on Instagram where he shared his struggles. "Every day, s-t is being thrown my way. I have been mistreated and abused, neglected, made into a mental example. And I fear for my life every day," he said. "People in my community make me look out as if I'm going to be someone that's going to be a problem and make things difficult for people when I'm only trying to be helpful. I feel like I have a certain way about myself and strength and purpose that does not get valued or get treated properly."
Singler continued to post two additional videos on Tuesday, further heightening concern among his social media audience. In response, various figures from the NBA community banded together to offer their support. Five-time NBA All-Star Kevin Love urged for collective encouragement, posting on X, "To everyone who has spent time with Kyle Singler and whose lives he has touched - please shower him with the love and support he needs+deserves. I would not be who I am today without him. I am forever indebted and love him. To the NBA family, Duke BB family, & South Medford community - let's show up for one of our own."
Andre Drummond, the 76ers center, also reached out with a supportive message. Commenting on Singler’s initial Instagram video, Drummond wrote, "You aren't alone brother! I'm here for you."
The collective response showcases the strong bonds within the NBA community, rallying to provide emotional support during Singler's challenging time.
