These cookies, integral to the functioning of websites, are set in response to user actions such as logging in, setting privacy preferences, or completing forms. Although users can set browser settings to block or alert them about these cookies, doing so may disrupt site functionality.

Furthermore, personal information gathered through these cookies may be used for targeted advertising, selling, or sharing, as permitted by privacy laws. This practice can result in third parties gaining access to personal user data. To opt out of these activities, individuals or their authorized agents must adjust settings on each digital property. Notably, opting out on one platform does not extend this preference to other digital properties owned by the Walt Disney Family of Companies. Users must repeat the opt-out process on each site.

Additionally, users need to re-elect their preferences if they clear browser cookies or switch devices. An opt-out form is available that allows a more extensive action on the opt-out election, covering multiple digital properties. Users can also enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC), a universal tool that automatically communicates their opt-out preferences.

Despite opting out, users may still encounter advertising, potentially based on previously processed personal information. Users may also have the option to opt out from third parties that handle their personal information, which requires a separate action for each party, accessible via the IAB opt-out list. For further strategies to limit interest-based advertising or tracking, users can visit dedicated online tools or sites like "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" and "Targeted Advertising" Opt-Out Rights.
