In a development that has reignited the investigation into President Biden's family business dealings, the National Archives has released nearly 6,000 pages of emails to Republicans on the House Oversight Committee. The move follows a request made by Oversight Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-Ky) for documents related to Biden's time as vice president.

According to reports from Axios, the National Archives' general counsel, Gary Stern, confirmed that 211 emails, spanning 5,860 pages, have been turned over as part of the probe into Biden's family business dealings. In a letter to Rep. Comer, Stern explained that the disclosure process is being carried out in a rolling notification manner for both former and incumbent presidents.

The requested records include communications during the period when then-Vice President Biden used a pseudonym and exchanges involving Hunter Biden or his business associates. House Republicans have been on the hunt for evidence of potential wrongdoing by President Biden since The Post's exposé on Hunter Biden's foreign business dealings and subsequent revelations of felony tax fraud charges in 2020.

Despite allegations of Hunter Biden's questionable activities and President Biden's close ties with his son's business partners, House investigators have yet to uncover a smoking gun that directly implicates the president in any criminal actions.

In total, the National Archives has now released more than 20,000 pages of emails and an additional 75,000 pages of records to the House GOP, demonstrating the extent of their commitment to the ongoing investigation.

As the probe continues, it remains to be seen whether the newly released emails will provide any substantial evidence or lead to further revelations regarding President Biden's involvement in his family's business dealings. The House Oversight Committee will no doubt carefully scrutinize the contents of these emails as they proceed with their investigation.

This latest development once again highlights the intensity of the scrutiny surrounding President Biden and his family, revealing the political pressure faced by the Biden administration to address concerns over potential conflicts of interest and to maintain transparency in their dealings. The investigation is far from over, and the release of these emails marks another significant step in the process of uncovering the truth behind the allegations.
