In a recent turn of events, country music star Morgan Wallen found himself at the center of a Nashville arrest. The incident took place last week at Eric Church's bar in the renowned Broadway district, a place known for its vibrant nightlife and live music scene. Although Wallen's arrest may have come as a surprise to some, locals and music journalist Jason Steen, who covers the Music City beat on ScoopNashville.com, revealed that this type of rowdy behavior is not uncommon in the downtown area.

Steen spoke exclusively to Fox News Digital and shared that Wallen's actions were often associated with the "general downtown craziness" that takes place on Broadway. According to Steen, Wallen seemed amused by the situation, laughing throughout the ordeal, even when he was on the rooftop. Wallen has earned a reputation as the "King of Broadway" due to his frequent presence in the bustling district.

The 30-year-old singer was charged with three felony counts by the Metro Nashville Police Department following an incident on April 7. Reports indicate that Wallen allegedly threw a chair from the sixth story, endangering nearby police officers. Wallen's attorney, Worrick Robinson, confirmed that his client is cooperating with the authorities.

Steen mentioned that Wallen's attitude seems to be one of invincibility, believing that he will always emerge unscathed from any situation. Despite previous scandals and arrests, Wallen has managed to bounce back, further reinforcing this belief. Representatives for Wallen did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Broadway, a popular tourist destination known for its vibrant entertainment, has become a regular haunt for Wallen. Unlike other stars with contractual ties to specific bars, Wallen can often be found "showing up randomly" at honky tonks and making his way down Broadway. This behavior sets him apart from other country music stars who have distanced themselves from the area over the years.

Steen reminisced about the days when country music stars were a common sight in Broadway bars, noting that times have changed since the late '90s. Wallen, however, continues to frequent the area, staying until the bars close at 3 a.m. Despite his fame, Wallen moves around with a small group and engages with fans and others at the bars, a sight not often seen from country stars nowadays.

As news of Wallen's arrest spread, TMZ published a photo of him outside the bar with police. Regarding the charges, Steen believes they will likely be reduced to disorderly conduct, given that throwing objects off rooftops in Nashville is not an uncommon occurrence. Steen does not anticipate any major penalties for Wallen.

The incident came just days after Wallen kicked off his "One Night at a Time 2024" tour. He is scheduled to perform in Missouri with Bailey Zimmerman, Nate Smith, and Lauren Watkins before headlining the Stagecoach festival in the California desert.

Morgan Wallen's arrest in Nashville sheds light on the rowdy atmosphere of the Broadway district and the singer's larger-than-life persona on the music scene. As the legal process progresses, Wallen's ability to bounce back from previous controversies may once again be put to the test.
