The popular TV series "All American" is set to undergo significant changes as it gears up for Season 7. Fans can expect a different look and feel as several main cast members will not be returning as series regulars. The CW has confirmed that alongside Daniel Ezra, other familiar faces such as Samantha Logan, Cody Christian, Karimah Westbrook, Monét Mazur, and Chelsea Tavares will also not be featured full-time in the upcoming season. This shift leaves only three original cast members - Michael Evans Behling, Greta Onieogou, and Bre-Z - returning as series regulars. However, Ezra will make a return to direct and guest-star in Season 7, and fan-favorite original characters are expected to appear as guest stars.
The exits of some characters were hinted at in the Season 6 finale, with key plot developments taking place involving Spencer, Olivia, Jordan, Layla, Grace, and Patience. The official logline indicates that Season 7 will bring the focus back to the core elements of the show, centered around Beverly Hills High and South Crenshaw High. The storyline will continue to explore themes such as high school football dreams, intense rivalries, and teenage drama, while introducing a new generation of L.A. teens and characters. Two South Crenshaw students, Khalil and Amina, portrayed by Antonio J. Bell and Alexis Chikaeze, respectively, have been promoted to series regulars. Additionally, new cast members - Osy Ikhile as the new football coach of Beverly High, Cassius Jeremy, and Nathaniel McIntyre as his son and the school's quarterback, Kingston Jeremy - have been added to the ensemble.
"All American" Season 7 is slated to premiere in 2025, offering viewers a fresh perspective with a blend of familiar faces and new characters. The dynamics and drama are expected to escalate as the storyline evolves within the backdrop of high school football culture and personal relationships. With a mix of old and new cast members, the upcoming season promises to deliver excitement, tension, and heartfelt moments that have captivated audiences since the series' inception.
