**Maersk Reports Robust Q3 2024 Results and Updates Full-Year Outlook**
Copenhagen, Denmark - A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S (APMM) has announced strong preliminary unaudited financial results for the third quarter of 2024, revealing significant revenue and earnings. According to the company's statement, Q3 revenue stands at USD 15.8 billion, with underlying EBITDA reported at USD 4.8 billion and underlying EBIT at USD 3.3 billion.
These remarkable figures reflect the company's solid performance amidst strong market demand for container shipping and ongoing complications in the Red Sea region. As a result of these combined factors, Maersk has revised its full-year 2024 financial outlook upwards. The company now anticipates an underlying EBITDA between USD 11.0 and 11.5 billion and an EBIT ranging from USD 5.2 to 5.7 billion. Prior estimates were set at USD 9 to 11 billion for EBITDA and USD 3 to 5 billion for EBIT. Additionally, Maersk expects its free cash flow to be at least USD 3 billion, up from the previously forecasted USD 2 billion.
