**Kings Set for Rematch Against High-Flying Golden Knights Tonight**

The Los Angeles Kings are gearing up for a showdown with the Vegas Golden Knights at Crypto.com Arena, looking to avenge their heavy 6-1 defeat at T-Mobile Arena just eight days ago. The Kings will be playing at home following a brief stopover in San Jose, where they faced off against the Sharks last night.

In their previous encounter with Vegas, Warren Foegele netted the only goal for the Kings, with assists from defensemen Joel Edmundson and Jordan Spence. Edmundson's assist was his sixth in 11 games against the Golden Knights, a personal best he shares with no other team.

Tonight, goaltender Darcy Kuemper is expected to start for the Kings. Kuemper, who recently returned from injury, showcased his skills with a commendable performance against Utah, saving 23 out of 25 shots. Over his 17 appearances against Vegas, he has compiled a record of 6-7-3, maintaining an impressive .930 save percentage and a 2.31 goals-against average.

Kevin Fiala, who missed last night's game due to violating team protocols, is anticipated to return to the lineup. The team had a discussion following the incident, and head coach Hiller indicated that Fiala was given a "clean slate." Akil Thomas made his season debut in Fiala's absence, scoring a goal and delivering a solid performance.

For the Golden Knights, their impressive start to the season sees them leading the Pacific Division with seven wins and 15 points from 10 games. Key players Mark Stone and Jack Eichel have been standout performers, with Stone tied for the NHL lead in scoring with 18 points and Eichel close behind with 16 points, making them formidable opponents for the Kings tonight.

As the puck drops tonight, the Kings are eager to turn the tide against a red-hot Vegas team and secure a crucial win on home ice.
