In a tragic turn of events, legendary fitness instructor Richard Simmons has been found dead in his home at the age of 76. According to law enforcement sources, Simmons had fallen in his bathroom the night before his untimely demise, which coincided with his 76th birthday.

Simmons' housekeeper immediately rushed to his aid and attempted to seek medical attention. However, the fitness guru reportedly declined the offer, expressing his desire to spend his birthday at home. He mentioned the possibility of seeing a doctor the following day before being assisted back to bed.

TMZ reported that Simmons had described feeling dizzy prior to the fall. Regrettably, on Saturday morning around 10 a.m., the housekeeper discovered him unresponsive on the floor next to his bed.
