### RHOC Star Shannon Beador Settles Facelift Lawsuit with Ex-Boyfriend John Janssen
The legal drama that has surrounded Shannon Beador and her ex-boyfriend John Janssen for the past seven months has finally come to an end. The Real Housewives of Orange County star and Janssen have reached a settlement regarding the $75,000 that John claimed he loaned Shannon for her facelift.
This long-standing issue came to light during Season 18 of RHOC, where Shannon detailed her side, stating that she had offered to pay back a portion of the money but that progress had stalled due to John's refusal to sign a non-disparagement agreement. This impasse left the former couple at odds, and until recently, they were preparing for a jury trial to resolve the matter.
However, a significant development occurred, culminating in a deal between the two. According to court documents filed on November 15th, John acknowledged that he and Shannon had agreed to settle the dispute, although the specific financial terms were not disclosed. The documents also noted that the dismissal of the case would be “unconditional,” with John required to finalize the legal dismissal within 45 days.
Throughout the show, John, alongside his new fiancée Alexis Bellino, asserted that Shannon was aware of the obligation to repay the money, insisting they had "proof" of their claim. John even mentioned in a confessional that he had reluctantly pursued legal action to avoid the statute of limitations from barring any legal recourse.
Meanwhile, Shannon maintained that the money was a gift provided during their relationship, leading to further complications and raising doubts among the RHOC cast about her decisions.
With the lawsuit now settled, Shannon can move past the contentious chapter with John and focus on putting this ordeal behind her.
