Legal analyst Jonathan Turley has raised concerns over Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and prosecutor Nathan Wade, who are involved in the racketeering case against former President Donald Trump and 18 co-defendants. The case, accusing the defendants of conspiring to overturn Joe Biden's 2020 election win in Georgia, has taken a new turn following revelations of a personal relationship between Willis and Wade.

The recent evidence, including affidavits from a private investigator analyzing Wade's cellphone location data, suggests that Wade visited Willis' home late at night twice in 2021. These revelations have led to questions about the integrity of the case and the actions of the prosecutors.

Judge Scott McAfee conducted hearings last week to determine if Willis and her team should be disqualified from the case. The ongoing scrutiny has also raised concerns of false filings and perjury, putting Willis and Wade at risk of potential prosecution from a Georgia court or referral to the bar.

In response to the escalating issues, Turley emphasized that Willis and Wade should step aside in the case to avoid further complications. The legal analyst warned that the prosecutors' personal interests appear to be overshadowing the public interest in the case, which could compromise its integrity.

It remains to be seen how these developments will impact Judge McAfee's pending ruling in the Trump racketeering case, as the legal battle continues to unfold.
