The LA Clippers have revealed a fresh new look as they prepare for the upcoming season at their new home, Intuit Dome. The team showcased their redesigned logo, court, and uniforms on Monday, incorporating a blend of the franchise's past, present, and future.
With a color palette of naval blue, ember red, and Pacific blue, the Clippers' new design pays homage to their maritime roots, inspired by the Clippers name derived from the ship. The primary logo features a "C" surrounded by the points of a compass and an oncoming ship with basketball seams.
Gillian Zucker, president of business operations for the Clippers and Intuit Dome, expressed excitement about the new look, stating, "We have been on a long journey, gathering feedback and insights from across Clipper Nation."
The team will introduce new navy Icon Edition, white Associated Edition, and red Statement Edition uniforms for the 2024-25 NBA season, each showcasing a revamped wordmark in a thinner, more straight-forward font.
Embracing nautical themes, the Clippers' court will prominently feature the primary logo at center court, with the northern direction in the Los Angeles "N" facing north. The arena's geographic coordinates will be displayed on the hardwood.
After years at Crypto.com Arena, formerly Staples Center, the Clippers will kick off the 2024-25 NBA season at their new $2 billion home, Intuit Dome. The arena will include "The Wall," a dedicated section for Clippers fans, and is set to host the 2026 NBA All-Star Game.
Fans can get a first look at the team's new merchandise collection at www.ClippersHQ.com and The Grove on February 26 and 27, available from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. PT. Subsequent availability of the new Clippers gear will be in the summer following the limited-edition release.
