**Kansas City Chiefs Aim for Historic Success, Eye Improved Pass Rush**

The Kansas City Chiefs have made headlines, becoming the first team to start the season 7-0 after winning consecutive Super Bowls since the 1990 San Francisco 49ers. This remarkable achievement places them among elite company, as no team has managed to secure three consecutive Super Bowl victories in the era stretching back to 1966. The Chiefs are ambitiously attempting to break this long-standing record with a strategic move involving a former second-round pick from New England.

Despite boasting a robust pass rush with a 38.9% quarterback pressure rate, which ranks sixth in the league, the Chiefs have found themselves lacking in completing these plays with sacks. They have accumulated only 15 team sacks this season, placing them seventh from the bottom in the NFL. Their 6.1% sack rate also sees them ranked as the 11th worst in the league. This inconsistency has been evident, barring significant contributions from edge rusher George Karlaftis and All-Pro defensive tackle Chris Jones, both of whom have recorded 3.0 sacks each.

In an effort to bolster their pass rush, the Chiefs have brought in an asset whose impact is already noticeable. Uche, with two sacks, ties for the fourth-highest on the team, and his 13 quarterback pressures are the fourth most among Kansas City's pass rushers. This move is seen as essential for the Chiefs to maintain their defensive rigor and support their bid for an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat.
