In a surprising turn of events, actor Joseph Quinn has let slip a significant detail about the upcoming Marvel movie "The Fantastic Four: First Steps." During a recent interview at CCXPMX25, Quinn, who plays Johnny Storm in the film, inadvertently revealed that Mole Man will be one of the villains featured.

This revelation adds to the mounting spoilers surrounding "The Fantastic Four: First Steps," a film that has already seen leaks about characters like Silver Surfer, Galactus, and even a baby Franklin Richards. One key mystery had fans particularly curious: the role of Paul Walter Hauser, known for his part in "Cobra Kai." Quinn solved this puzzle when he spoke about the film’s cast, saying, "We've got a lot of fantastic characters in there. There's also Mole Man. Who is wonderful in it. But Galactus is the big bad."

Quinn’s slip puts him in the same league as Marvel actors Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo, who are infamous for letting secrets spill. It wouldn’t be a surprise if Marvel President Kevin Feige has already reached out to Quinn following the accidental disclosure.

Paul Walter Hauser has been evading questions about his character with humorous ambiguity. In a previous interview with ScreenRant, Hauser hinted at his role, saying, "I know what that question is leading to, which is the answer as to which character I'm to play... It's a very distinct character that I'm excited to play and I'm kind of mapping out what I'm doing with that right now."

Fans, however, had their suspicions long before Quinn’s revelation. Speculations about Mole Man’s appearance in the film were reinforced by clues in online discussions, such as @BenGrimmStreet's post on X, "Clearly Mole Man with the epic battle from Fantastic Four #1 at the beginning of the movie."

Further evidence suggests Mole Man's involvement, with a Fantastic Four MCU comic book tie-in set to release on July 2, just weeks before the movie's premiere. Written by Matt Fraction, who also consulted on the film, this one-shot pays homage to the original 1961 "Fantastic Four #1," where Mole Man first debuted.

In the comics, Mole Man, also known as Harvey Elder, is a genius scientist ostracized for his appearance. He discovers Deviant technology on Monster Island and plots to conquer the surface world with his army of subterranean creatures, the Moloids.

Paul Walter Hauser's portrayal of Mole Man is now a confirmed piece of the MCU puzzle, thanks to Joseph Quinn's accidental reveal. As the film’s release approaches, fans are buzzing with anticipation, wondering how this classic villain will be brought to life on the big screen.
