In Monday's Jets training camp, rookie running back Braelon Allen showcased his physical prowess, bulldozing would-be tacklers and breaking through the middle for significant gains. At an impressive 235 pounds, Allen appears to be a perfect complement to three-down starter Breece Hall.

However, the offensive line faced numerous challenges while attempting to protect quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Tyrod Taylor. On the first day of full pads, Rodgers endured consecutive "sacks" during a possession and later suffered another sack in the red zone. Tanzel Smart fittingly ended the practice by "sacking" Taylor, highlighting a dominant performance by the defense.

One issue that came to light was a potential snapping problem within the Jets' lineup. Center Joe Tippman sent several snaps flying too high in Rodgers' direction, causing disruptions in play timing. Head coach Robert Saleh acknowledged the issue, stating that Tippman needs to work on his snaps as something appears to be amiss.

Rodgers, frustrated by the offense's struggles, displayed his discontent by vocally expressing his dissatisfaction and gesturing emphatically towards his teammates. Tight end Tyler Conklin attributed Rodgers' actions to a commitment to accountability and demanding excellence from his teammates. Despite the frustrations, Rodgers completed 8-of-13 passes, albeit with an interception to Chuck Clark that was deemed catchable after deflecting off Allen Lazard's hands.

Injury concerns also briefly surfaced during practice. Tight end Jeremy Ruckert hobbled off the field at one point, but he managed to return to continue his participation. On the other hand, wide receiver Xavier Gipson and cornerback Brandin Echols remained sidelined, presumably nursing their respective injuries.

As the Jets training camp progresses, it becomes evident that the rookie running back Allen possesses the physical tools to make a significant impact alongside Breece Hall. The offensive line's struggles in protecting Rodgers and Taylor raise concerns, particularly during drills involving full pads. Meanwhile, the snapping issue, as identified by Coach Saleh, requires immediate attention to maintain consistent offensive performance.
