**Jets Announce Roster Changes Ahead of Texans Showdown**

In preparation for their Thursday night clash with the Texans, the Jets have adjusted their roster significantly. The team released tight end Anthony Firkser and brought tight end Kenny Yeboah back onto the active roster from injured reserve. Firkser, who largely contributed on special teams, had suited up for four games with the Jets, participating in the last three consecutive matchups.

In additional moves, the Jets placed defensive tackle Leki Fotu and wide receiver Allen Lazard on injured reserve. Both players have been grappling with injuries, with Fotu suffering from a knee issue and Lazard dealing with a chest injury, the latter of which was reported earlier on Thursday.

The Jets also bolstered their roster by signing kicker Riley Patterson and offensive lineman Alec Lindstrom from the practice squad. Patterson is set to take over kicking duties as Greg Zuerlein is currently on injured reserve.

Furthermore, the Jets elevated defensive backs Kendall Sheffield and Jarius Monroe from the practice squad to the gameday roster. Rounding out their roster moves, the team added defensive end Takk McKinley to their practice squad, aiming to strengthen their defensive depth.
