The fight took place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, early Saturday morning UK time, where the two combatants battled through eight two-minute rounds.

Despite Tyson starting strong in the first two rounds, the effects of his 58 years began showing as the bout progressed. Tyson struggled with his movements and was visibly exhausted, breathing heavily whenever he returned to his corner. All three judges ultimately declared Jake Paul the victor. During his post-fight interview, Paul referred to Tyson as "the GOAT," a show of respect in contrast to his brother Logan’s previous interactions with opponents.

Tyson later expressed no regrets about participating in the match. Addressing his followers on Twitter, he opened up about a serious health scare that nearly prevented him from fighting. He revealed he had undergone eight blood transfusions and lost 25 pounds in the hospital due to an ulcer flare-up on a flight, which had originally postponed their fight in May. "I almost died in June," Tyson wrote. Despite these challenges, Tyson felt victorious for going the distance with a relatively young and talented fighter in front of a packed stadium.

Many fans criticized Jake Paul for not knocking Tyson out, questioning whether he had pulled his punches despite having a dominant position. In a candid YouTube video on his 'BS with Jake Paul' podcast, Paul acknowledged he held back during the fight. "I'm sorry I didn't knock him out, guys. I'm really sorry," Paul admitted. "After I'd seen him a little bit tired, I didn't want to put too much hurt on him. But I wanted the fans to get a good experience."

Paul further explained his strategy and mindset during the match. "In the first round, I was gauging his speed. And once I got his timing pretty quick and saw how I could tag him up and touch him, the rest is pretty much history. I just outboxed him and had fun," he said. Paul's game plan involved taking it slow initially to let Tyson tire himself out, which he executed effectively to gain control by the third round.

The match was a blend of respect, strategy, and raw emotion, making it an unforgettable experience for both fighters and fans alike.
