### Jackson Drake Becomes Inaugural WWE Evolve Men's Champion
In a surprising twist, WWE crowned Jackson Drake as the first men’s champion for its new Evolve brand. Fans had anticipated that one of the favorites with NXT experience or an undefeated singles record would claim the title, but it was Drake who emerged victorious.
On the June 4 episode of Evolve, a Four-Way Elimination match featuring Sean Legacy, Edris Enofe, Keanu Carver, and Jackson Drake decided the first men's champion. The match maintained high tension and drama throughout the contest, streamable on the Tubi platform, with clips available internationally via YouTube.
Edris Enofe, an NXT veteran, was the first to be eliminated by Keanu Carver, who was seen as a formidable contender. Surprisingly, Carver himself was eliminated next, leaving Sean Legacy to face Jackson Drake in a climactic showdown. Against expectations, Drake, known for his affiliation with the Vanity Project stable, secured a clean victory over Legacy.
Following his win, Je'Von Evans, an NXT talent and long-time friend of Drake, presented the prestigious belt. The victorious Drake celebrated with his Vanity Project team, comprising Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes, Bryce Donovan, and Zayda Steel.
Hailing from Greensboro, North Carolina, the 21-year-old Jackson Drake began his wrestling career in 2018 on local independent circuits. By 2021, he had expanded to the Northeast wrestling scene, making notable appearances on AEW Dark, Raw, and competing in NWA and GCW. Last year, he joined WWE's ID Program while continuing to maintain a presence in independent circuits.
Now, Jackson Drake's impressive journey has culminated in his historic achievement as the first-ever WWE Evolve men's champion.
