As a result of a field maintenance issue, the remainder of the 2024 Ivy League Baseball Tournament has been relocated to Montclair State's Yogi Berra Stadium. The decision was made in consideration of student-athlete safety, after Robertson Field at Satow Stadium was deemed unplayable following game three of the tournament.
The updated schedule for the remaining games is as follows: On Sunday, May 19, the No. 4 Penn team will face off against No. 3 Cornell at 12:30 PM. Later in the day, at 4:30 PM, No. 2 Princeton will compete against the loser of the Penn vs. Cornell match.
On Monday, May 20, the winner of the Penn vs. Cornell game will play against the winner of the Princeton vs. loser of Penn vs. Cornell game at 1:30 PM. If necessary, a seventh game will be held approximately 35 minutes after the sixth game.
All-session packages and single-day tickets will still be honored for the tournament. Gates will open 90 minutes before the start of the first game, and tickets can also be purchased at the door. For inquiries or additional information, individuals can contact the Columbia Athletics Ticket Office through lionstickets@columbia.edu or by calling 888-LIONS-11.
Unfortunately, due to the change in venues, the final two days of the tournament will not be broadcasted. However, live stats will be available for those interested in following the progress of the games.
The Ivy League Baseball Tournament, normally held at Robertson Field at Satow Stadium, had to be relocated to Montclair State's Yogi Berra Stadium due to the unplayable field conditions. The new venue was chosen to ensure the safety of the student-athletes.
