In a terrifying incident captured on video, a Subaru SUV collided with two bicyclists on a highway in Fort Worth, Texas. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Benjamin Hylander, an American Airlines employee, fled the scene but was later apprehended.

According to reports, the incident took place near the Dallas Fort Worth airport and was shared on Twitter. The video shows two bicyclists riding in the right-hand lane when the Subaru suddenly crashes into them. The impact was severe, and the driver intentionally ran over one of the bicyclists before fleeing.

However, thanks to the quick action of another witness, the driver was pursued and eventually brought back to the scene by bicyclists who followed him to a nearby gas station. Upon inspection, police allegedly discovered six empty beer cans in Hylander's backpack, leading to charges of two counts of intoxication assault with a vehicle, one count of accident involving injury, and one count of driving while intoxicated.

The condition of the injured bicyclists remains unknown, as no official statements have been made regarding their status. Authorities are investigating the incident, and charges related to the collision are yet to be announced.
