Mitchell faced some challenges in shielding opponents in the end zone, but he remained responsible for maintaining outside leverage.

On the Atlanta Falcons' side, the second-round pick Orhorhoro made a strong impact as a pass rusher during his limited number of snaps. He displayed strong hands and quickness, overpowering left guard Andrew Vorhees for a sack on his first play. Orhorhoro consistently pressured the quarterback, albeit without affecting the play directly. However, when lined up as a five-technique, he had difficulty overpowering tackles on the outside.

Moving on to the Chicago Bears, Odunze, a top-10 draft pick, showcased his talent while also making a few rookie mistakes. Despite gaining separation from his man on multiple occasions, Odunze didn't receive much attention from quarterback Caleb Williams. However, he did manage to make an impact with a reverse play that resulted in a significant gain. Additionally, Odunze executed a scramble drill effectively, providing a target for Williams and converting a 45-yard play. Although he missed out on a potential touchdown due to a foot placement error, Odunze displayed his willingness to block in the slot, creating opportunities for his teammates.

Last but not least, Nabers from the New York Giants faced stiff competition from Texans' cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. Despite a close call with an interception on the first offensive play, Nabers bounced back and showcased his speed and receiving ability. He made a key sideline catch, twisting his body mid-air to secure a 21-yard gain. Nabers also showed resilience by regaining his balance after slipping on a cut, ultimately completing a 16-yard play. As a blocker, Nabers exhibited effort, contributing to open lanes for his teammates on the run game.

Although these rookies displayed glimpses of their potential, there were also areas of improvement to address.
