Israel Air Force fighter jets conducted multiple strikes on Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon on Friday. The IDF confirmed that IAF jets targeted a post in the Labbouneh area and a military building in the Kfarkela area, both locations where Hezbollah terrorists were known to operate. This follows a previous airstrike on Thursday night in Blida.

National Unity MK Benny Gantz assured residents of Israel's north that efforts to combat Hezbollah would not cease until it is safe for them to return home. There are optimistic signals that Hezbollah is moving away from the Israel-Lebanon border.

Preparations are being made by the IDF for potential extension of the operation amid escalating tensions. Al Mayadeen, a media outlet with ties to Hezbollah, reported that the IAF launched three rockets into Lebanon, prompting a response with rocket fire towards the Western Galilee later on Friday. The IDF swiftly retaliated with heavy fire.

The ongoing military activity highlights the volatile situation on Israel's northern border as both sides engage in tit-for-tat exchanges, raising concerns about further escalation in the region.
