In a groundbreaking move, Honda has become the first automaker in the United States to offer charging credits across multiple networks. This exciting development will provide even more convenience and options for Honda Prologue owners when it comes to charging their electric vehicles (EVs).

Under this new initiative, charging credits with EVgo and its partner roaming networks will be included with each optional charging package. The credits will vary depending on the chosen package, with benefits ranging from $750 for owners seeking to maximize public charging to $100 for those who opt for a Level 2 Home Charging Station. Additionally, customers who choose a Level 1/Level 2 Portable Charging Kit will receive a $300 public charging credit, along with a $250 installation credit.

To redeem the installation credit, customers can utilize the Honda Home Electrification (HHE) marketplace. This platform offers access to a network of experienced local installers, as well as dedicated support from expert Energy Advisors who can assist with installation queries, rebates, incentives, and other home electrification products.

In another exciting collaboration, first-time Honda EV owners will also benefit from Electrify America's offer of 60 kWh of complimentary public charging. This offering is included with each available charging package, further enhancing the charging experience for Prologue owners.

Owners of the 2024 Honda Prologue will have access to the HondaLink® Smartphone App, which enables them to locate available stations, make payments for charging, redeem credits, enroll in subscription plans, and enjoy other features provided by EVgo, Electrify America, and their roaming partners.

The 2024 Honda Prologue is set to deliver on Honda's commitment to providing a full line of clean, safe, fun, and connected vehicles. The Prologue will join Honda's diverse lineup, which includes popular models such as the Civic, Accord, HR-V, CR-V, Passport, Pilot, Ridgeline, and Odyssey. The Prologue will be an all-electric sport utility vehicle, contributing to Honda's expanding range of electrified vehicles that already include the Accord hybrid, CR-V hybrid, and the upcoming Civic hybrid.

Honda has a rich history of manufacturing automobiles in America for over 40 years and currently operates 18 major manufacturing facilities in North America. In 2023, more than 99% of all Honda vehicles sold in the U.S. were manufactured in North America, with a majority produced domestically using both domestic and globally sourced parts.

With this latest development, Honda is demonstrating its commitment to supporting the growing EV market and providing its customers with a seamless charging experience. The multiple network charging credits offered to Prologue owners further solidify Honda's position as an innovator in the automotive industry.
