Professional dancer Hayley Erbert, along with her husband Derek Hough, excitedly announced on his Instagram Story that she has been medically cleared to rejoin the Symphony of Dance tour. Erbert, 29, shared her joy in a video, stating that she will be dancing when the tour begins on April 14th in Melbourne, Florida.

In the video, Hough, 38, expressed his eagerness to dance with Erbert again and thanked their fans for their unwavering support during her recovery. The couple also posted a separate video on Instagram, showcasing them rehearsing tour dance routines together.

Erbert took to Instagram to reflect on her journey to recovery and expressed her gratitude for being able to dance again. She described her healing process as extraordinary and mentioned that being back on stage with her husband is igniting her soul and speeding up her recovery even further. She thanked her team of doctors for their support, ensuring her health and safety remained a priority.

Last December, Erbert underwent emergency brain surgery after becoming disoriented during a Symphony of Dance tour stop in Washington, DC. Hough shared on Instagram at the time that she had been diagnosed with a cranial hematoma from a burst blood vessel and required an emergency craniectomy. Following the first surgery, Erbert had to undergo a second procedure to replace a large portion of her skull.

Throughout her recovery, Hough stood by his wife's side, publicly praising her strength. In February, he spoke on a red carpet event, stating that he didn't realize how strong she truly was until now, calling her a "miracle."

The couple, who got married in August 2023 in a romantic ceremony in California's redwood forest, are now excited to resume their dancing careers together. The news of Erbert's clearance to return to the Symphony of Dance tour has brought immense joy to both of them, and they look forward to sharing their passion with their fans once again.
