Renowned Guns N' Roses guitarist, Slash, has shared the heartbreaking news of the passing of his stepdaughter, Lucy-Bleu Knight, aged 25. Taking to social media on July 22, the rocker expressed his grief and described Lucy-Bleu as "a charming, lovable, sweet soul."

In a statement, Slash confirmed that Lucy-Bleu, born on December 6, 1998, was the beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight. She was also the stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash and the sister of Scarlet Knight. Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a beloved individual, according to the statement.

At this time, no further details about her passing have been made public, and the family requests minimal speculation on social media as they navigate this devastating loss. The announcement was met with an outpouring of condolences from fans and friends, who expressed their support for Slash and his relatives during this difficult time.

Susan Holmes McKagan, model and author as well as the spouse of Slash's Guns N' Roses bandmate Duff McKagan, wrote, "Words cannot express our deepest sympathy and condolences. Love you all so much." Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea simply said, "Oh man, god bless," while Violet Grohl, daughter of Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl, expressed, "My heart hurts for you guys. All the love to your family rn."

Lucy-Bleu Knight was the daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight. Hodges and Slash first started their relationship in 1989 and later rekindled it in 2015. This tragic loss likely prompted Slash's recent announcement on July 21, stating the cancellation of several upcoming tour dates. The cancellations, including a show in Cincinnati on July 22, were attributed to "unforeseen circumstances."

Refunds will be available for fans at their respective points of purchase. The affected tour dates include performances in Interlochen, Huber Heights, and Windsor. However, at the time of writing, it appears that the tour is expected to resume in Toronto on July 28, as per the statement.

The untimely death of Lucy-Bleu Knight has left the music community and fans in shock and mourning. Messages of love and support continue to pour in for Slash, Meegan Hodges, and their extended family as they navigate through this terrible loss.
