In a heartfelt Instagram post, actor Glen Powell expressed his admiration for the late actor Bill Paxton while celebrating the release of his latest film, "Twisters." Powell, known for his role in "Hit Man," shared a picture of himself alongside Paxton, who starred in the 1996 film "Twister," on Friday.

"As we release Twisters into the world today, I just wanted to look up and tip my hat to the legend that is Bill Paxton," Powell wrote in the caption. He fondly recalled Paxton as a great friend who saw poetry in the natural world.

Powell and Paxton had previously worked together in the 2013 film "Red Wing," which also featured the late Luke Perry. It is evident that their bond extended beyond the set, as Powell took a moment to honor Paxton's memory and pay tribute to his immense talent.

Bill Paxton, known for his iconic role in "Twister" opposite Helen Hunt, as well as his appearances in James Cameron-directed films "Titanic" and "Aliens," unfortunately passed away in 2017 at the age of 61 due to complications during surgery. His contributions to the world of film and his memorable performances continue to be celebrated by both colleagues and fans.

In addition to his heartfelt tribute, Powell also shared a fun moment with his "Twisters" co-stars Daisy Edgar-Jones and Anthony Ramos. The trio joined country music star Luke Combs on stage at his performance in New Jersey's MetLife Stadium on Friday night, where they enjoyed the company of each other while "shotgunning" a few beers.

"Twisters" is now playing in theaters, giving audiences a chance to experience the thrilling world of tornadoes and adventure. Glen Powell’s dedication to honoring the memory of Bill Paxton adds a poignant layer to this exciting release, reminding us of the lasting impact and greatness of those who came before us in the world of entertainment.
