The order, which was approved by a judge in Los Angeles last month, will be in effect until April 29, 2027, as reported by People magazine.

The decision comes amidst a series of troubling incidents involving Francesco. Allegedly, Francesco has threatened to kill his father and owes his brothers a substantial amount of money. Furthermore, he has faced legal trouble, including an arrest for drug possession resulting in jail time.

The restraining order dictates that Francesco is prohibited from contacting his father or his brother Emilio, and he must stay at least 100 yards away from their residences and places of work.

Meanwhile, four days after the restraining order was granted, Frankie Valli received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The revered singer expressed his joy at the event, highlighting the support he received from his wife, Jackie Jacobs, and their twin sons, Emilio and Brando. Notably, Francesco was absent from the gathering.

Emilio, in his court documents, alleged that Francesco had made repeated physical threats against him and their father. Emilio also revealed that Francesco is battling opiate addiction and has been dependent on Valli for financial assistance. However, Emilio emphasized that his father would only continue supporting Francesco financially if he enters a residential drug treatment program.

Responding to the situation, Valli's representative expressed sadness over the unfortunate events and appealed for privacy as the family works through their issues. A source close to the family described the ongoing drama as "heartbreaking" for the iconic performer.

Francesco, whose mother is Valli's third wife Randy Clohessy, has occasionally pursued acting, with appearances in movies such as "The House Bunny" and "Reach Me." Valli, himself a four-time married man, had three sons with Clohessy. Additionally, he became a father to three daughters - Celia, Antonia, and Francine - during his first marriage to Mary Mandel. Tragically, Celia died in an accident in February 1980, while Francine succumbed to an accidental drug overdose six months later at the age of 20.

Frankie Valli has previously expressed that his love for his children is unconditional. Irrespective of his busy schedule, he made it a point to speak to his children every day, emphasizing the importance of family bonds.

As this situation concerning Francesco unfolds, it remains to be seen how the Valli family navigates through this challenging chapter in their lives.
