Former NFL quarterback Vince Young found himself embroiled in a bar fight that took place at Tokyo Joe's Shot Bar in Houston, Texas, on February 4th. The incident, captured on video obtained by TMZ Sports, showed Young and another man engaged in a heated argument with other patrons.

According to the footage, the altercation escalated when one man suddenly slammed his drink into another man's face. Shortly after, the same individual threw a forceful elbow, which landed cleanly on its target. As tensions appeared to be subsiding, Young was unexpectedly struck by a punch, resulting in him being knocked to the ground.

The bar owner immediately called the Houston Police Department to the scene, reporting that he had been hit with both a drink and an elbow during the altercation. The owner informed the officers that the situation started with a conversation about race, which turned physical when he asked the patrons involved to leave.

Fortunately, no arrests were made, and the bar owner chose not to press charges. As of now, Young has not made any public comments regarding the incident.

Young rose to fame as a standout quarterback during his two seasons as a starter for the University of Texas. His remarkable performance in the 2005 BCS National Championship Game, where he threw for 267 yards, ran for 200 yards, and scored three rushing touchdowns, led the Longhorns to a 41-38 victory over USC, securing the national title.

This bar fight marks a concerning incident in Young's post-football life. Fans and supporters hope that he can overcome this incident and find a positive way forward.
