**Kanye West Faces Serious Allegations from Former Assistant Lauren Pisciotta**
Kanye West, known as Ye, is embroiled in new allegations from his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, who claims that the rapper drugged and sexually assaulted her. In an amended complaint filed in California and obtained by USA TODAY, Pisciotta asserts that Ye "touched, groped, fondled, grabbed and forced himself in and on" her multiple times without her consent. These accusations follow an earlier lawsuit filed by Pisciotta this year for sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and breach of contract.
USA TODAY has sought comments from Ye's representatives. In a statement provided to Rolling Stone in June, Ye's legal team dismissed Pisciotta's claims as "blackmail and extortion," asserting that she was "terminated for being unqualified" and citing her demand for a $4 million annual salary as unreasonable. They further accused Pisciotta of using "sexual coercion" to obtain money and material items.
The filing details an incident that reportedly occurred before Pisciotta began working for Ye. She claims she was invited to a studio session co-hosted by Ye and Sean "Diddy" Combs, where she was served a drink laced with an unidentified drug. This substance allegedly left her in a "heavily impaired state," and Pisciotta stated she woke up the next day with no memory of the prior evening. She only realized years later, after Ye mentioned that they "hooked up" that night, that she had been "drugged and sexually assaulted."
Another incident outlined in the complaint occurred during a work trip in July 2021. Pisciotta alleges that Ye forced his way into her hotel room under the pretense of needing to use her shower. Once inside, he allegedly pushed her onto the bed, dropped his towel, and "forcefully thrust his naked body" onto her despite her clear objections and visible distress.
Pisciotta's complaint also includes claims of "constant" sexual harassment throughout her employment, presenting allegedly explicit text messages from Ye as evidence. The lawsuit says that this harassment, coupled with the revelation of the previous sexual assault, led Pisciotta to suffer from "severe anxiety, depression and overwhelming PTSD." She further alleges she was wrongfully terminated in 2022 as retaliation for refusing Ye's advances.
These developments add to Ye's mounting legal troubles. Recently, a former employee, identified as John Doe, filed a lawsuit against Ye for infliction of emotional distress, labor code violations, and retaliation. Doe claims he was instructed to investigate Ye's ex-wife Kim Kardashian and to hire private investigators to spy on Bianca Censori. The lawsuit also alleges that Ye threatened to kill Doe, prompting the former employee to seek anonymity for his safety.
