In a bid to boost sales and attract Tesla owners, Ford has introduced a new program called Tesla Competitive Conquest Bonus Cash. This incentive offers existing Tesla owners a $1,500 discount on the purchase of a new F-150 Lightning, regardless of the trim level chosen. The program can be combined with other incentives, such as Retail Bonus Cash, resulting in potential savings of up to $14,000 on the purchase price of the F-150 Lightning.

Reports from Ford Authority detail the automaker's strategy to target Tesla owners with this exclusive discount. Alongside the Tesla Competitive Conquest Bonus Cash, Ford has already implemented price cuts on the 2024 versions of the F-150 Lightning, with reductions of up to $5,500.

The discounts available on the F-150 Lightning models are as follows: the XLT Standard Range receives a $2,000 discount, bringing its price down to $62,995, while the Flash Extended Range model has a discount of $5,500, lowering its price to $67,995. The Lariat Extended Range model receives a $2,500 discount, making it available for $76,995. The Pro Standard Range and Lightning Platinum Extended Range configurations remain priced at $54,995 and $84,995, respectively.

Moreover, the F-150 Lightning also qualifies for the full $7,500 tax credit in the United States, as long as the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) remains under $80,000. This further adds to the potential savings for buyers.

In a move to enhance the charging experience for Ford EV owners, the automaker recently gained access to the extensive Tesla Supercharger Network. This allows Ford EV owners to charge their vehicles at various Tesla Supercharger stations across the country. While the current requirement includes a free NACS adapter, Ford has announced that starting from 2025, the adapter will be permanently installed in its electric vehicles, eliminating the need for an additional accessory.

With this latest program targeting Tesla owners and the recent price cuts, Ford aims to increase demand for the F-150 Lightning and establish a strong presence in the electric vehicle market.
