Travis, standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 200 pounds, becomes the seventh Seminole chosen in this year's draft.

Travis has had a remarkable career at FSU, spending a total of five seasons with the Seminoles and six years in college overall. After starting his collegiate journey at Louisville, he made the decision to transfer to FSU. During his time with the Seminoles, Travis played in 46 games, displaying his versatility and ability as a quarterback.

As a passer, Travis completed 633 of his 1,013 attempts, boasting an impressive 62.5% completion rate. He accumulated a total of 8,644 passing yards, throwing 65 touchdowns and only 19 interceptions. Travis also proved to be a threat on the ground, with 409 rushes for 1,910 yards and 31 rushing touchdowns. Notably, he even recorded a touchdown reception during his time as a Seminole.

One of Travis' standout achievements is being the only player in FSU history to rush for at least seven touchdowns in four consecutive seasons. He also holds several career records at FSU, including touchdown responsibility, total offense, quarterback rushing yards, and quarterback rushing touchdowns. Travis is the sole player in FSU history to have over 50 passing touchdowns and at least 12 rushing touchdowns.

During the 2023 season, Travis unfortunately faced an untimely leg injury that prematurely ended his campaign. Before his injury, he displayed exceptional skills, completing 207 of 324 passes for 2,756 yards, 20 touchdowns, and just two interceptions. Additionally, he rushed for 176 yards and contributed seven rushing touchdowns, leading FSU to an impressive 11-0 record in the games he completed.

Statistically, Travis' most impressive season as a Seminole came in 2022. He completed 226 of 353 passes for 3,214 yards, 24 touchdowns, and only five interceptions. His rushing game was equally impressive, amassing 417 yards on 82 carries with seven rushing touchdowns.

In 2021, Travis ascended to the role of starter, playing in 10 games with eight starts. He recorded 1,539 passing yards, 15 touchdowns, and six interceptions, while also contributing 530 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns. The 2020 season showcased Travis' potential, as he played in eight games with six starts, throwing for 1,056 yards, six touchdowns, and six interceptions. He also rushed for 559 yards and seven touchdowns.

Though in a limited role, Travis made an impact during his debut season in 2019 when he showcased his ability to run the ball. He had 23 rushing attempts for 228 yards and three touchdowns, along with 94 yards and two touchdowns in a pivotal game against Boston College. Travis appeared in three games for Louisville in the 2018 season.

Unfortunately, Travis was unable to participate in testing at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine due to his ongoing rehabilitation following his late-season injury.

Now, with the New York Jets selecting Travis in the fifth round, fans eagerly await his impact on the team and the opportunities he will seize at the professional level.
