In an unusual turn of events, a couple in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey, had their Tesla damaged by a fish that seemingly fell from the sky right outside their home on Sunday. The entire incident was captured on camera, leaving Cynthia and Jeff Levine bewildered by the unexpected occurrence.

According to the Levines, they were initially unaware that anything had happened when their parked car suddenly started honking uncontrollably. "The car started honking, it went crazy honking which we had never heard. I didn't know how to turn it off," Cynthia explained. Curiosity got the better of her, and she went outside to investigate, only to discover the damage to their vehicle.

"We were like holy crap look at this, and I said to him, it looks like fish scales and blood on the windshield," Cynthia expressed. Initially suspecting foul play, the couple contemplated the possibility of someone intentionally throwing a fish at their car, raising concerns about their safety. However, living just a mile away from Raritan Bay, where the fish could have originated, they deduced that a bird, most likely an eagle, might have mistakenly dropped it.

Residents in the area confirmed that it is common to witness birds flying around with fish in their mouths, further supporting the Levines' theory. "We also have an eagle's nest in our backyard... We think it was probably the eagle," Cynthia suggested.

The Levines are eagerly awaiting the return of their Tesla, which is currently being repaired. Jeff, however, took the opportunity to send a message to their feathered neighbor, saying, "Please be careful when carrying your fishy meals!"

Although an unexpected incident, the Levines can now look back on it as a peculiar anecdote that left their vehicle with an unexpected fishy surprise. As for the feathered culprits responsible, it seems they have reminded the Levines and their community of the fascinating wonders of nature and the unexpected encounters it may bring.

The Levines' fish-falling episode remains a memorable, if not bizarre, incident in Atlantic Highlands, causing much amusement and curiosity among the locals.
