### Fantasy Football Week 4: Underrated Players to Consider Rostered in Less Than 35% of Leagues

As we approach Week 4 of the fantasy football season, several underrated players are poised for significant performances. One of the most notable is quarterback Justin Fields, whose recent performance has turned heads. Fields, a former Ohio State standout, displayed an exceptional game against the Los Angeles Chargers, completing 78.1% of his passes for 245 yards and a touchdown, along with a rushing score, racking up 18.4 fantasy points. Given the Colts' struggling defense, which has allowed an average of 239.7 passing yards and 16.3 fantasy points to quarterbacks, Fields is expected to continue his hot streak. Should Fields not be available, Andy Dalton is a viable alternative, facing the Cincinnati Bengals.

Running back Cam Akers also emerges as a key player, especially with Dameon Pierce sidelined due to a hamstring injury. Akers, despite struggling against the Minnesota Vikings with only 21 rushing yards, managed to score a receiving touchdown, earning 9.4 fantasy points. This week, Akers faces the Jacksonville Jaguars, whose defense has given up 25.6 fantasy points per game to running backs, including two rushing touchdowns last week. If Joe Mixon, who has been practicing despite a knee injury, plays, fantasy managers might want to consider Cordarrelle Patterson against the Indianapolis Colts. Patterson saw increased touches in Week 3, averaging 8.3 yards per rushing attempt.

In Chicago, D'Andre Swift's underwhelming performance may lead to a larger role for Johnson, who recorded 8.2 fantasy points in Week 3. The Rams' defense has been lenient, allowing 23.2 points per game to running backs and the second-most rushing yards per game. As Swift continues to struggle, Johnson's workload is anticipated to increase, making him a viable option for fantasy managers.

Receiver Demario Douglas of the Patriots showed promise in Week 3, notching seven receptions for 69 yards against the New York Jets. With an 83.8% slot route participation, he stands out as a key target, particularly as the 49ers have struggled against slot receivers. Given New England's weak passing game, Douglas is likely to see considerable action.

For the Cardinals, wide receiver Wilson is expected to shine due to Trey McBride's absence. Wilson had a solid performance in Week 3 with eight receptions for 64 yards. With Washington's defense giving up the most receiving touchdowns and fantasy points to wide receivers, Wilson's potential role increases significantly.

Finally, tight end Tyler Conklin could benefit from an expanded role this week. Although he had a slow start to the season, Conklin saw a significant uptick in targets in Week 3. Facing a Broncos defense that has been generous to tight ends, Conklin is positioned to have a breakout game.
