### Top Fantasy Football Pickups: Tua's Return, Daniel Jones' Consistency, and Running Back Opportunities

Amid ongoing quarterback uncertainties, Tua Tagovailoa’s potential return looms large for fantasy football managers. In his only complete game this season, Tagovailoa finished as the fantasy QB8, passing for 336 yards with an impressive 9.1 yards per attempt. His absence, due to a concussion, has left the team struggling, as none of his three backups managed to exceed 6.3 yards per attempt. Fans are optimistic as Tagovailoa could be back in action against the Colts or Cardinals, both of whom have subpar defenses.

Meanwhile, Daniel Jones of the New York Giants presents a significant opportunity for fantasy managers. Despite being rostered in only 20% of leagues, Jones has emerged as a reliable option, finishing as a top-12 fantasy quarterback in three of the last four games. He ranks seventh in completion rate and has maintained strong performances without top target Malik Nabers. With upcoming games against the struggling Bengals defense and the Eagles, Jones' stock is rising. Notably, he is one of only two quarterbacks, along with Baker Mayfield, to have three games with multiple touchdown passes and no interceptions this season.

In the running back category, several players stand out as valuable acquisitions. Braelon Allen of the New York Jets, rostered in 45% of leagues, has demonstrated versatility in both rushing and receiving. His potential is especially critical during bye weeks, and he has outperformed teammate Breece Hall in yards per carry and missed tackles. Similarly, Jaylen Warren of the Pittsburgh Steelers, who is 41% rostered, has shown promise. If he returns from injury, he could capitalize on Najee Harris' inefficiency and potentially take over the backfield.

Other notable running backs worth considering include Tyrone Tracy Jr. of the New York Giants, Blake Corum of the Los Angeles Rams, and Kimani Vidal of the Los Angeles Chargers. Tracy had a standout performance in Week 5 with 129 yards on 18 carries and might see increased workload with Devin Singletary's status uncertain. Corum, seeing significant action in Week 5, could be a useful player down the stretch if the Rams decide to give him more trust post-bye week. Vidal, who will likely play his first game this season with Gus Edwards out, could make a strong impression for the Chargers.

Wide receivers Keon Coleman of the Buffalo Bills and Jalen Tolbert of the Dallas Cowboys also present intriguing prospects. Coleman, despite limited targets, has been highly effective, ranking fourth in yards per reception among receivers with 75+ routes. Tolbert, benefiting from Brandin Cooks' absence, has secured the No. 2 WR spot for Dallas and shown good chemistry with Dak Prescott.

Additionally, Ja’Lynn Polk of the New England Patriots and Tyler Conklin of the New York Jets stand out in deeper leagues. Polk has taken on the role of the Patriots' top receiver, playing every snap in Week 5, while Conklin is a consistent target in the Jets’ offense, making him a reliable tight end option.

Fantasy football managers should keep a close eye on these players as they navigate through injuries, bye weeks, and strategic acquisitions to bolster their rosters.
